Where is RC?

I've been wondering too. Sent him a message but no reply, don't think he's signed into his myspace either. I think it's just the computer he's using, I think he was complaining that it was "a pile of junk" he "threw together".

I talked to him on the phone a couple of weeks ago and he mentioned that he was having computer issues.
I'm guessing it went kaput on him.

I might give him a call tonight to see how he's been doing.
He agreed to draw up a logo for our Airsoft group: Eastern Iowa Airsoft, but I haven't sent the design I like to him because he hasn't been on the computer.

I just got off the phone with RC and he explained to me why he hasn't been on.

Apparently, his oldest son got into trouble with the law and is required to wear one of those ankle monitoring bracelets.
It plugs into the phone line and prevents RC from accessing the internet. Not sure how it works, but it alerts the cops by calling them through the phone line if his son leaves the area.
RC has DSL and doesn't have the proper plugin to make the internet and the ankle bracelet thing work simultaneously.
His computer is actually running fine.

He said he was looking into getting the plugin soon but that it might be at least a couple more weeks until we see him online again.

Anyone know which plugin will work and how much it'd cost?
Why would it conflict with the internet?

DSL requires you to have a high -frequency filter to prevent interference when you're on the phone, I would imagine that's what the problem is with the ankle bracelet. I've got his info and I will try to contact him and see if I can help out. I had to do a bunch of DSL installs at our remote offices where I work and I have tons of those filters laying around.
