THE SEAMSTRESS (2009)

This little horror movie really wanted to be good.  It had a cool premise, a spooky ghost killer, a buried dark secret, and six college kids, all reasonably attractive and somewhat horny,  on a deserted island off the Maine coast.  It had a few good "jump" scares and a creepy ambience.

But the storyline was disjointed, the back story incomplete, and the denouement most unsatisfactory.  It felt like critical scenes that would have sewn it all together had been randomly removed, or maybe moved around out of order. 

Skip this one, or wait to get it for a dollar rental.
