I'm so stoked! Next Thursday I go in to have a cataract removed and an intraocular lens implanted into my right eye, and then have some Lasix touch up on it. The next day (possibly the next week) it'll be Lasik on the right eye, then voila, no glasses ever again!

It isn't going to make me any better looking; I'm still gonna be squinty eyed and ugly, but I should be able to navigate a room woithout tripping over anything or stepping on a dog. Best of all I should be able to surf, water ski, and see where I'm swimming underwater again. I can start taking the bikes out again without painful crashes, and my offroading will be even better! Also best of all; costumes will look sooo much cooler without glasses!

Man, I can't wait to be able to wake up in the morning and instantly SEE!

Great news! My father had eye surgery too, and he sees great.
Best wishes!

Thank's man, I found out about it a couple days ago and I guess it just hit me how different things will be> I'm giddy!

That's great!  I had LASIK years ago, and I've already forgotten what a hassle glasses can be.

I can see pretty good and I still have trouble navigating rooms and tripping on animals  :bluesad:.
