ISLAND WOMEN (1980)

This movie is pretty bad . . . but it's one of the ultimate "women in prison" movies.  I bought the uncut version from Cinema de Bizarre.

Plot summary:  The corrupt dictator of a small country sends all the prostitutes from his brothels to a deserted island prison so they won't be discovered by United Nations inspectors!  While at the prison, the women are sprayed with hoses, examined by the lecherous prison doctor, engage in very explicit (but not quite hardcore) sex scenes with the guards, are disciplined by the warden (who spends about 10% of the time wearing a black leather outfit and 90% of the time naked), and attempt to escape.

This movie wins the prize for "most scenes featuring full frontal nudity."  I estimate there is at least one (and often several) naked people on screen for about 80 minutes of this movie's 90 minute running time.

One of the stars is Brigitte Lahaie, a French actress who starred in many erotic movies such as EDUCATION OF THE BARONESS and HIGH TEST GIRLS.

This is certainly a bad movie, but I can't say I hated it.  I'd rate it "3 out of 10" as a movie, but "7 out of 10" as an exploitation movie.
