"Cronos is a 1993 Mexican horror film written and directed by Guillermo del Toro, starring veteran Argentine actor Federico Luppi and Ron Perlman." - Wiki

I saw this one at the local discount store today.  I like del Toro; I like Perlman; but it was $7 - which is more than I usually allow myself to spend on a B-film I have not heard of (mind you, I also left The Thing with Two Heads in the bin at that price too).  Upon looking it up on IMDB, I am now unsure as to whether I should have left it there, or should make a point of going back tomorrow to get it?  Since I am becoming familiar with what you guys like, I will be better able to judge based on what members here say.  So what is it gentlemen and ladies: yea or nay?

Cronos is a great and very unique vampire movie. I own it and give it a spin every few months.

Very non typical, virtually unique vampire movie... but its also rather unlike most of Del Toro's other work, in other words this is not Blade 2 in any way.  The extras are very good, (At least on the DVD available from Netflix) with a nice director commentary.

For that price I would pick it up, Cronos is a very unique vampire film and I believe Del Toro's first feature. The main actor Fredericco Luppi is also in Del Toro's The Devil's Backbone.
