BEST MOVIE OF 2009

The nominations are in! (Nobody nominated AVATAR, probably because it came out too late). So which will be the winner? My vote goes to THE HURT LOCKER; my prediction is that UP will be the board favorite (although I think it will be in a close race with DISTRICT 9).

voted for the hurt locker

up was cute but I just didnt enjoy it as much as pixar's other movies. Its my least favorite after cars.

I only saw District 9 and Zombieland. I'll give a slight edge to District 9.

, I liked UP a lot. Definitely in my top 5 for the year, but not my #1 choice.

Well, that was easy. "Up" is the only movie on the list that I saw last year. Hopefully, 2010 will be (IMHO) a better year for films, but I'm not getting my hopes up yet.

It wouldn't make my top 10 movies of the year, but I thought it was above average and it was quite the crowd pleaser at the time. A lot of people fawned over it when it came out but I guess they forgot about it soon after.
