OK, so a local theatre in my town that plays mostly, older, foreign, and indie films is doing a "midnight double feature"!  The first movie will be Curtains (1983), a Canadian slasher film starring John Vernon.  It actually looks pretty decent.

The second film is TBA.  They did have a vote for it on their website, but didn't say the results.

Has anyone seen Curtains?  It's not on DVD, and I don't know about VHS or anything else.  Is it worth the $15 for this?

It's not bad.  Canadian slasher that got a lot of run on cable.  A couple memorable, gory killings.. the killer had an old hag costume with a scythe and chased a gal skating on a frozen pond, IIRC.  Worth watching.
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

The Burgomaster

I saw CURTAINS in the theater when it was originally released.  It bored the hell out of me.
"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

The full movie is up on youtube & I decided to try & watch it & found it boring as well. Perhaps its for the best if that movie stays on VHS.   :tongueout:
