Shrinking Options To Record Video.

In the continuing oppressive nature of  movie and cable  companies, options that existed  to record TV programs are being eliminated and the means of having a  copy of an event on TV is disappearing. So they're putting this technology into new DVD recorders?  Lucky I've got an older one. 

I dunno, the fact that they don't make anything I want to see kind of makes it hard for me to care if I can record it or not.

Well, They count on that so when they do bring the hammer  down and you need to keep buying the movies and TV shows  you care about every time, it'll be too late.

I came up with a solution:

Put a camera in front of the TV.     Actually it works rather well.  Just make sure you position the camera right, and turn up the volume (unless your recording a silent movie.)

I think I'll eventually  just use my TV as a  monitor, already  I just watch a  few Free stations left and mostly DVD's.
