This is sick and so wrong.  I hope they find the owners and lock them up for a while.  How could they let their neglect their dog so badly to this point?

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

That is so gross and disgusting, and in more ways than one.  :bluesad: :hatred:

Sadly, as a country boy I can assure you that people often use back roads, parks, and rural areas as places to discard their dog or cat. Many times, its because they've already severely neglected their dog/cat, and they know full well that if they ever get caught, they'll pay dearly for it. So they deal with the problem not by getting medical attention for their pet, but by leaving their dog or kitty to either die or be helped by a more compassionate person. For that Peke, the help came too late.  :bluesad:

I didnt click the link. I dont like stories like this and I dont want to be thinking about it all day.  There really should be more severe sentences for people who neglect or abuse animals.
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far~ ruminations

Some our best pets were ones that wandered up from the highway when I lived out in the country. I knew they would usually live a while because they were "road tested", meaning that they had spent enough time wandering the highway that they knew better than to get near it again, as long as we fed them and provided a good home.
