Director Juan Piquer Simón (PIECES, SLUGS, SUPERSONIC MAN) has passed away at the age of 74 after a long battle with cancer.
Another great from our genre is gone.

I guess it's finally time to buy a DVD of Pieces and give it a watch.  I've wanted to ever since the early 80s.
