This film has recently appeared on my radar after noticing someone just bought a copy on the site and memories of past reviews of the film rushed into my head.  They all said one, it's utter crap.  It's an insult to women, unfunny, a waste of people's talent, badly written, and has a horrible message to it.  For those of you who have seen it, what is your thoughts on it?

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

1 name:

Anne Hathaway.

She makes everything better.  :teddyr:

Like I said in the recent purchase thread, I thought it was silly and fun. Not sure of where the insult to women stuff is coming from. My girlfriend liked the movie. To me it was a badmovie veiled as a chick flick.

The insult comes from the way the movie protrays women and also seems to praise their behavior as acceptable and perfectly fine.  They only seem to care about getting to their wedding date and are willing to rip each other to pieces to get there, even though they are former friends.  That's I how see it.

Also, here's another opinion for a better explaination:

If you like the movie fine, but I want you to understand why I don't like it.

I feel ya man. No worries. No each his reach.

Hammock Rider

You know, this is probably High Art for Kate Hudson, but Anne Hathaway can actually act. On the other hand maybe it was just a fun, quick and well paying job for her. Either way it seems pretty forgettable, no matter how you feel about it.

I find Anne Hathaway incredibly adorable, but I couldn't make it more than twenty minutes into this piece.
I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org
