QuoteAnd my favorite bit of Pee Wee casting: Nosy neighbor Mrs. Steve was played by Shirley Stoler, best known as playing the murderous Martha Beck in the incredible THE HONEYMOON KILLERS (1970).

whoah
There's a belief among certain factions of monster fandom-(me among them) that Shirly Stoler is actually Shirley Kilpatrick of the ASTOUNDING SHE MONSTER fame!

Here's Shirley Stoler...

A couple more casting notes:
Law and Order's S. Epatha Merkeson was Reba the Mail Lady.

Whose got a hard-on for Miss Yvonne?    :bouncegiggle:

She's right up my alley. I'm curious what Killer Bees and Paquita have to say about Miss Yvonne's tremendous rack. They seem to have weighed in favorably on us guys' fascination for boobs.

Miss Yvonne + two dress sizes smaller and you have.......me!

I seem to remember an episode showing that she stuffed... not that there's anything wrong with that!  I love boobs.  I had a huge obsession with them until I was in high school, and now it's a more appropriate appreciation.  And I love PeeWee's playhouse and the PeeWee movies!  I had a poster of him on my door for many years, and I have the talking PeeWee doll somewheres.

Killer Bees

I don't think we got Pee Wee's Playhouse here in Australia.  The first I knew about Pee Wee Herman was the movie where his bike was stolen.  The first time I watched it I was like "WTF???"  :buggedout:

I got together with a group of friends one weekend, we got roaring drunk, then watched it and we laughed our a.rses off.  I've loved it ever since.  :teddyr:

I'll have to get it on DVD to show my son.  He would love it.
