I do kind of like America's Next Top Model, although I prefer to let my wife think I'm putting up with it because she wants to watch it.

Also a number of dumb kids' shows. The great thing is when you have a kid of the right age to watch them with, you're allowed to like them. Actually, I almost like the really bad ones the best. Dora, Caillou, etc. are freaking hilarious if you watch them in the right frame of mind. And that seems to be rubbing off on the kid, since I can't help riffing on the shows. Now, when Dora and Boots hear Swiper and stop what they're doing to worry about him stealing the object they need at that moment, Ro is the one to say "Just use the thing and it won't matter!" That's my girl.

I'm glad she's getting old enough to move up to some more sophisticated kids' shows. I've been introducing her to Spongebob Squarepants, and I've been meaning to check out Fairly Oddparents because I think it looks funny. She still finds Grossology a bit scary at times. Actually, now that I mention it, I would consider Grossology to be a guilty pleasure of mine.

I love your take on kids shows. My son's good and addicted to Diego of course it doesn't help that my wife and I make fun of some of the stuff they do (like rocks are falling on top of them so they stop and turn around to talk to the kids to ask for their help).

What channel is grossology on? it sounds interesting.
The only difference between zombies and toddlers is one is cuter than the other.

I believe Grossology is a Nickelodeon show, although it's been aired on YTV in Canada up to now.

The thing I love about Diego is the way wild animals always need human assistance, sometimes to do simple things they're supposed to do instinctively. We also make fun of the fact that both Dora and Diego introduce Spanish words without speaking them clearly or making sure kids understand how to say them. And they only seem to teach kids to use one Spanish word at a time, and never how to put the words together, which is great if you want to learn how to speak like a Mexican Frankenstein monster.
