I own The Fog on DVD (bought it many years ago and never got around to watching it) and am just curious to see if its worth watching on Blu-Ray instead of DVD. I only ask because I have access to the Blu-Ray version as well but it'll set me back a bit and I'll have to wait about a week or 2 to get it, where as right now on the other hand I have the DVD lined up and ready to go. I hear from reviews that the BR suffers from ugly edge-enhancement and isn't such a significant improvement/upgrade over the DVD. So my question is, is it worth waiting 1 or 2 weeks plus pay an additional fee to watch the film on Blu, or can I settle with the DVD.

I heard the UK Blu-ray of The Fog is crap. Myself bought the German Blu-ray of The Fog and it looks absolute fabulous.
If you have the UK one, skip it. If you can get your hands on the German one, grab it. Carpenter's classic looks gorgeous in HD.

Well I'm not from Germany or the U.K, although we do share the same region in terms of Blu-Ray playback as the U.K, meaning its most probably that 'crap' version you speak of. So I guess I'll be sticking with the DVD.
