horror movie from 70's native american

When I was a kid I was terrified of a movie i saw. I remember a guy swimming in a pool and a native american mask attacked him. then he met an older native american that may have been trying to teach him how to defend him self. A fire was lit and it turned green or some color. A black car was chasing them and the old man shook a powder in a line across the road. The car impacted into this line and burst into flames. The kid ran to help the driver but instead something burst through the window and grabbed him. That is all I got. Scary stuff when your little.

Geeez. Finally it was called "The Hawk" with Jan-Michael Vincent. Obscure canada film that is no where to be found today. Well this is solved. Just thought i would come back here and tell everyone. Thanks.
