Here we go again!  Or are we going again?!  What do I mean by that?  Oh you'll see.

Final Destination 5... what can I say?  It's the same crap as the last 4 movies, but with an interesting twist which I won't spoil since it is pretty good.  The deaths are just as nuts, crazy, and ludicrious as before.  The gymnastic death scene is merely the highlight of just flipping impossible (SPOILERS: Neck breaking?  Sure, but what follows, not so much).

I can't say anymore than that.  You just got to see this to believe it.  Arguably, the second or third best in the series, but then again, is that saying much?

Also, what I find ultimately amusing is that last film was called The Final Destination.  As in, the final.  Guess the money said differently.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

there was a 4th one? news to me, I only thought there were 3 so far

final destination 3D is one of the goriest movies I've ever seen yet it was only a 15 certificate which I found strange

I agree - none of the movies are high art, but this was definitely one of the better ones in the series.  I like the way they toyed with the setups, where they would spend minutes showing you what all is wrong in the room (frayed wire, water dripping, flammable liquids, etc...), but then the death would often have nothing to do with what they showed you.  They've always kinda done that, but they really seemed to amp it up this time.  The opening carnage on the bridge was one of the weaker openings, but I did like the added twist (not the spoiler twist) of them finding out that if they kill someone, they can avoid death.

MAJOR SPOILER ALERT (although I won't give it away, my comment will allude to it).

I guess, technically, the fourth film being called THE Final Destination is still sorta accurate considering the ending of this one...

I'm suspicious of any movie that is Part 5 in a series . . .

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

ah apparently the 3D one was part 4, I got confused.

I don't like modern horrors but I quite like these Final Destinations for some reason

edit: nice touch on the post count lol

You mean the last four Final Destinations were not the Final destination? Then why the Hell did they say it was the FINAL destination when it isn't  the FINAL destination?
yeah no.

I want to start a retirement home and call it The Final Destination.

The stole the idea from movies like, FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE FINAL CHAPTER.   :teddyr:

I saw Tony Todd's back. And it somehow ties to earlier flicks.

I like the series overall. Just seems too much to have 5, yet I read they wanna make up to 7.
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
