so I broke down and bought a wireless internet connection 2 days ago

ever since that time whenever I click a link that is in a word document or within an email in my thunderbird account it won't work

everything else is working like it did before

does anyone know how I can fix this?

It's been a while since I worked in IT, but if you are not able to open things that you were able to before, perhaps your wireless network has a built-in firewall, with some setting that is blocking you from opening attachments or links. The fact that it happens with email messages makes me think that. Just a stab.

I think the issue with the Thunderbird is that the company I paid to install it for my business put it on an unsecured connection or server, they told me this when they installed it over a year ago

I have no idea what to allow through the firewall besides Thunderbird itself, which I already did and it's not working, maybe I need to restart my computer?

I'm feeling kind of stupid at the moment  :bluesad:
