"Motel Hell" was on TCM last night too. That's about the last film I'd expect to find on that channel! :teddyr:

But does not hold up as well upon repeated viewings...UTA HAGEN is so clearly a stage actress and knowing the "secret" makes parts clumsy.  It's still well made, and for once I was prepared to catch the fleeting glimpse of what's inside the cask... gruesome.

I love The Other.  Saw it at the drive-in when I was a kid on a double feature with The Legend of Hell House.  I also read both books and they are definitely worth reading even if you have seen the movies.
