I love this show. So much cool stuff.
I even got my 17 and 19 year old kids hooked on it!

So cool.
I collect anttiques myself-always got an eye at flea markets and yard sales-and nothing I have is worth near a million bucks-it's a fun hobby and makes my life more interesting-and my home nicer. And it dont cost a lotta money. Like the old saying goes-I dont know about art but I know what I like.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

I enjoy it too, though I usually seem to be catching reruns.  If I've not seen it, I'm glad to watch; and if I have, I watch anyway.  I know several of the appraisers and have sold, bought, and swapped with several.  There's one or two that work my nerves (one guy who doesn't seem to be on much anymore was really talking out of his ass one time...)  Then there's the windbag who might have passed away...
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

I like the show too. But I keep thinking it would be more fun if 1 out of 3 or 4 items looked really cool but turned out to be worthless junk.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Alan and I watch this frequently.....it's fascinating some of the items that people have. I remember one episode where they showed a lady and the appraiser at a table surrounded by security. Turns out that she'd brought an authentic Conquistidor's helmet that her family had been using to....get this...patch a hole in the roof. It was worth over $500,000!
Yes,I'm fine....as long as I don't look too closely.
