Here we go again it seems. But the scary part? It's already passed in congress...

It still has to go through the senate and Obama (who apparently said he plans to veto it). But I feel this is still worth discussing all the same.

Anything that "threatens the Internet" has zero chance to pass.

I'm going to try to stay out of this because the SOPA discussion was just too frustrating for me.

I'll just point out that just because you don't trust the government doesn't mean you can automatically trust the people opposing the government.

Sorry, Obama has not said he opposes it and the Congress and virtually all politicians have been kowtowing to these restrictions with media for a while cause the large media  conglomorates  want it.
