"Where the Wild Things Are" Author Maurice Sendak dead at 83

WTWTA was a major part of my childhood. I recall seeing a documentary on Sendak around the time of the movie, which revealed he had a dark side, suffered from depression and a lot of demons to work through.

Aw man, this was one of my favorite stories as a kid. RIP Maurice Sendak.

Ah that's too bad.  That book was pretty good and that movie based on it was pretty interesting.  RIP Mister Sendak.
