I was looking through Ebay-like a kid drools over stuff in the old Sears Christmas catalogs-when I happened upon this....
An issue of a 1930 VARIETY newspaper.



So-big deal,right?
RIGHT!
It features-
.A promotion for the upcoming DRACULA with Lugosi-!



Cool,eh? Ah! But theirs more!
It also features promotion for actress CLARA BOW-whom Lugosi was romantically involved-!



AND-
An ad for the CRIMINAL CODE-the film in which featured Boris Karloff-where he was spotted by James Whale-and got the role in FRANKENSTEIN...which was to have starred Bela!



All I can say is....WOW!!!!

Oh-hell no! I didnt even try! Bidding was up to $48.00 already! I can't compete with 35 dollars in my pocket and 7 in the bank.
But it's cool to me to see the pics anyhow.
