I don't know if I can number this one because I really can't think of a movie that was shot entirely in one-but I've always found mangrove swamps to be somewhat creepy and other worldly looking.

Southern Alberta, Canada. Many movies, big and small, plus TV shows from Little Big Man to Brokeback Mountain to Open Range have been filmed in various locations in Southern Alberta. Many, but not all , I might have been westerns.
