searching the name of a thrillseeker movie

Hi guys,

I've been looking for this movie for ages now and I hope you could help me out. I've seen it between five and ten years ago, and I'm thinking it's from the 90's/somewhere early 2000. I used to think the lead was played by Keanu Reeves but i didn't find anything in his filmografy so that was wrong.

It's about a lawyer or councillor of some sorts who's fiancé (dark haired) is from a wealthy family. Her father has got a company in the same business the guy is in, he is rather boring, average and career-minded.

She is more of a wild child but he doesn't really know, she contains herself very well until they go out to a restaurant and he crashes the car against a tree on the way home. The thrill and the adrenaline gets her excited, they're alone on the road and they do it on the hood right after the car crashed.

This event triggers something in her and something happens with her, I don't know what exactly (I'm thinking suicide) but she dies or disappears and he starts digging in her past.

He finds out that years ago she was hanging out with a bunch of thrill-seekers. They climbed mountains, did base-jumping etc and I believe she was the leader or at least had a major part in the group, but then she went back home. I believe the new Alfa is her ex-bf.

He finds them, wants to hang out with them to understand her better. He needs to prove himself and together they do all kinds of crazy stuff. F.e. one time they go laying on the train-tracks, there's a train coming and they have to stay down as long as possible. In the end they all jump up right on time, but one guy stays down, starts laughing and he turns himself so he is in between the tracks and the train runs over him without hitting him.

He gets involved in the group and learns they have a secret. It's something involving drugs they stole or found and they are hidden somewhere only they could get using their skydiving or climbing skills.

I don't remember what happens in the end but it was something involving a gang and it had something to do with the drugs. There was a fight, some guy dies and in the end he chooses their lifestyle and throws away his career.

I remember the last scene: they went karting and he led the group with the karts out of the building and onto the main road, he's the new Alfa and they all have a lot of fun.

It's not Cutaway or Point Break.

Hmm, no it isn't. The emphasis is way more on the guy and the group, the woman plays an important part but she's only seen in the beginning.
