Old film involving a vinyl record

Ok, long time lurker first time poster. Here's my post.

There's only two scenes I remember from this flick, the first one is of two kids talking to each other, one of them pulls a record out of his backpack and hands it to the other kid, who says "woah it's heavy!". The first kid responds "he's in there." Shortly after the kid receives the record, he shoves it in his backpack, some stuff happens and he's either thrown or falls into the school pool.

Later after this scene the kid's listening to the record, which has this weird demonic growl while the scene cuts to some satanic ritual, people dancing around on fire while another person is crouching in the middle of a flaming pentagram. The kid snaps out of it when the record starts skipping.

That is ALL I can remember, please help, it's been driving me insane for about ten years now.
