I cant remember much because i watched it when i was a kid
First thing it was ANIMATED
my sister said a few people were turned into DONKEY IN A MUD BATH or something along those lines
Now this is the main thing i remember A FLOATING GHOST HEAD AND HANDS and she screams while chasing people
and lastly at the end of the movie a snake in a tree cries and it sparkles like a pearl
Please help me it has been bothering me and my family for years!!!

I forgot to mention that i watched it in the 90's

Could this be SPIRITED AWAY?  It's not really a donkey and snake, but I could see those being the images remembered.
