Anyone who's watched a lot of late-night premium TV and back-of-the-video-store action films might see some familiar plots this summer. In The Bourne Identity Matt Damon is a lethal spy that gets amnesia. That's one tried-and-true bad action story. For whatever reason deadly assassins account for 97% of all amnesiacs in movies. And in Bad Company Chris Rock is the street hustler twin of a CIA operative. At least 583 bad action flicks have had that exact same plot. I guess Hollywood is so starved of original ideas that when they're not churning out lame sequels and doing remakes no one asked for and movies based on TV shows no one even wants to hear about they turn to ripping off crap only people like us would watch.

And whats with remakes of old action movies! 100% of them suck basically.
