I can see it now-Jason Statham-ya know-the guy from the TRANSPORTER movies-? As Rick....oh gawd....

Statham?  Oh please.  It'll be either Channing Tatum or Tom Hardy.  Unless it's straight to dvd, then it'll be either Sean Bean or Val Kilmer.

For some reason, whenever I try to think of "modern Bogart", Bruce Willis is always the first name to spring to mind.

Hmmm....I can kind of see that; Willis seems a little more wry/comical than Bogart though. 
Just to clarify, I wasn't saying I think any of those actors are natural fits for Rick (although Bean could maybe pull it off), but those are the trendy "tough guy" names.
