Sorry: I haven't quite gotten over watching Hellraiser: Hellseeker yesterday and hearing Doug Bradley as Pinhead say that line. It gives me the flying s***s every time.

Has a movie line with your name in ever spooked you that way?
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

The Burgomaster

They made an entire movie with my name.  I found the ending to be somewhat disturbing the first time I saw it.

Hmm.. the only flick I remember seeing with a character with my name in it was Friday The 13th Part VII where Russell gets his face split open by Jason.  His girlfriend is swimming nude.  She surfaces and sees him, screaming.  Jason drowns her.
It didn't really spook me though, seeing as how the F13 series is cartoonish anymore with its outlandish kills, and the cast is pretty much uninteresting fodder for Jason anyway.

My name is Al.
I hate Ed O'Neil, a certain animatronic Disney character, and Alfred Yankovic.

Also an entire film: Hitchcock's Rebecca (1940).  I knew nothing of the story when I first watched it.  Laurence Olivier's acting was so good that his distaste whenever her/my name was mentioned bothered me in spite of myself.  The way the other characters spoke of her definitely spooked me a bit.  And yes, I found much of the ending disturbing - as intended.
"May I offer you a Peek Frean?" - Walter Bishop
"Thank you for appreciating my descent into deviant behavior, Mr. Reese." - Harold Finch

WingedSerpent

Not really spooked, although my friends and I often have a laugh when discussing Resident Evil (the games) because one of the lead characters and I share the same name-Chris.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Wish I could chime in, but for some reason I can't.

I have one of the most common names in the world, Robert. But for some reason my name is never picked for fictional characters. Why not? I don't know. "Bob's your uncle."

It's very rare, nobody is ever name Rob.
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

This episode of the Simpsons pretty much sums up the best use of my name in a show.

From a movie?  Not very often.  At least not often enough that I remember.

TV shows and music, on the other hand.... I can't count the number of times someone has said to me:

"Got to get tough! Yo Joe!"

or

"Hey Joe, where you going with that gun in your hand?"

Oh, wait. I just found this example from the very highly regarded Death Spa.

Guess I'll put off the idea of getting back into shape.

I have one of the most common names of all time.  There haven't really been any movies that used it which spooked me but I hate hate hate this song -
