Most people have muddy auras; basically, they are like a cloud of static to kids. But when a person with a fairly clear aura gets near them, they can sense the calm, the lack of static. You have little to no static in your aura, good sir. To kids, you are like stepping out of a crowded street into a quiet meadow. You are an oasis for them in a world of static.

Mom told me that I undergo a visible change when I am around children: my eyes and facial expressions become warmer and I am able to relate to kids on a "I'm on your level" basis.*

*That and the fact that I have a rather large dinosaur occupying my coffee table.  :teddyr:

Yeah, kids just love the dinosaur, and they figure "anyone who likes dinosaurs is OK with me".  But you'd be OK even if you didn't have the dinosaur, 'cause that's just the kind a' guy you are

Awww.... *HUG*.

When you walk through my flat's front door (or should that be my door's front flat? ) Mr G is sitting on my coffee table. I told my nephew to look out for the dinosaur as he went in, he said "Yeah, right!" and when he looked right, went WHOA!  :teddyr:

Godzilla?  Well hey man, how much cooler can it get that that?
Which Godzilla is it, the one from the 50's or the newer one from the Millenium and after?
Either way it's still Godzilla and that's good enough.

Sometimes it's just your face.

Now, I'm not handsome man like yourself, Trevor. I have a face that looks angry all the time. I've got those low eyebrows and a dark complexion. Unless I'm making a special effort to seem friendly, it seems to people that I hate their guts. I don't, I'm actually a big fan of people. But I've got a mean face and I speak in monotone. For people who don't know me, I come across as somewhat scary.

It's very tiresome to have people recoil to you. Sure you get to know them over time, and then they realize you're a good person. But it's annoying to have to win them over every time. And they do recoil. I win them over because I'm a nice person at heart, but before I get to that point I have to deal with the hesitance.
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

Trevor-and I say this with all my heart-I think kids like you because kids are innocent and not fouled by misconceptions of what or who we are supposed to act or look-kids love me too. And I think it;s because were young at heart and still find joy in kid stuff-cartoons,old GI joes,fishing-ya know. I feel joy just walking in the woods with Tina-looking at turtles and birds. It's nice.
Yer a good man,Trev. You got a young heart.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

I have quite an acne scarred face - a teenage legacy - but people think it gives my face character.

Trevor

My special sister invited me to tea with her parents in December and her kids were eagerly showing me the presents they had bought with the gift cards I gave them: my nephew had bought a humongous water cannon and he shot me in the back with it, cooling me down on a hot day.    The odd thing is my special sister's Mom went  :buggedout: :buggedout: and told her grandson "Uncle Trevor's going to be angry with you!"

Angry? Why? It was hot, I cooled down and no, I was most definitely not angry. Far from it.  :teddyr:
