English film about a young man who makes stag films...

I remember little about this one, but its about a frustrated young man who serves as cameraman on early stag films.  I believe it was from the 60s and the young guy may be a murderer.   I also seem to remember that he lives with his mother who was handicapped and unaware of what he was doing to supplement his income.

It sounds like the great MICHAEL POWELL film PEEPING TOM (1960).  I think RC is right.

Thank you both, I think that's it.  I'll have to see if I can find the whole movie, it's honestly a good one, a 1960 movie that that pre-dated the slasher films of the 80s.

PEEPING TOM is a notorious movie that probably destroyed the career of one of Britain's greatest filmmakers: MICHAEL POWELL.  I agree, it's a good one... in fact, it's great!
