yeah he does strike me as being a bit of an annoying brat, and his music sucks. although to be fair his 'reality' must be distorted beyond imagination... his world and normailty will never collide

I think it was Nic Cage that best explained it.  Everybody has stupid messed up things they think and do.  Normal people have friends that will step in and tell them, "dude, that's messed up."  When you're famous, you just have people telling you, "Sure go ahead do whatever you want."

That said, I have no problems with people wanting to punch him.  If the government set up a stadium and charge people five bucks a punch, they could probably pay off the national debt.
