Moxie soda

Anyone ever had this? I hadn't for like 20 years and had it tonight. It's not bad, kind of tastes like Necco wafers. or like Dr Pepper or root beer but not as good, but unique and distinct

When I lived in New England, people up there drank Moxie all the time, and til I got there I'd never even heard of the stuff. It tasted to me like Dr. Pepper mixed with some sort of over the counter cough medicine, but if you notice, the bubbles in it are mysteriously teeny tiny for some unfathomable reason.

I also see it as 'movie soda': I only have a soft drink or coffee  when I am watching a film. At the theatre/cinema: nothing.

That's how different people are. I could never watch a movie at the cinema without a nice cold beer or at least a soft drink, but I absolutely hate popcorn. I mostly go for M&Ms or stuff like that.
