We've pay phones here.  But in the shady neighborhoods where there's major crimes.

I honestly don't use my phone to call anyone.  I only carry it in case of emergency.  Or to shoot a quick text to my boss if I'm running late to work.  Once I'm home, I turn it off til the next day.
