Movies that promised more than they delivered

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY - It's rare that a movie actively p**ses me off, but how can anyone be suckered into this? Not scary, not creative, not anything.

Speaking of Paranormal Activity, I seem to remember Blair Witch hyped up by friends as well as the ad campaign and I was thoroughly disappointed.

As a kid, I recall being sorely disappointed by MegaForce.

I just remember this big @$$ ad in the Sunday morning funnies, & info about the fan club.
But the movie itself just wasn't it.
And the reference to John Tyler really insulted me as a kid. I didn't really get it until sometime in my 30s...
