i'd like to know why none of the bad movie sites review Andy Milligan films, because he was truly the worst director of all time. The Rats are Coming The Werewolves are hHere! is the worst werewolf film ever, The Man With Two Heads is the worst Jekyll/Hyde adaptation ever, Bloodthirsty Butchers is the worst ever-version of the Sweeny Todd legend, etc. As much as I hated MST3K, I would have liked to see them do some Milligan films, just so people wouldn't start thinking he was some genius, and recognize for the utterly worthless, untalented hack he truly was.

Rats Are Coming is wretched even by Andy standards. I think Man With Two Heads is hilarious, though.

Andy Milligan died in the early nineties of AIDS related illness.

The main problem is that none of his films have come to be in my collection.  Now, if I happen upon "The Rats Are Coming!  The Werewolves Are Here!" on one of my bad movie hunts it will certainly be purchased.

Reviewing by fate, spinning a tale of bad movies...

If you do get Rats are Coming, The Werewolves are here, by all means, include it. This and Man with Two Heads both played regularly on the channel 20 Thriller Double Feature here in Detroit (I actually live on the Canadian border).  Believe it or not, of all the horror films I saw as a kid (and I saw a lot of good ones) this was the only one which actually scared me!  I'd like to see it on the site because i would like to see the werewolf make-up again; I'm sure it was a heckuva a lot less convincing then I remember. if you want to know what the movie is like-imagine what would happen if Lars von Tirer directed a feature-length Dark Shadows film. 'Nuff said.

If you'd like, Andrew: I've got a spare copy of Rats. I know it's hard to believe, but two people have given me used copies as gifts. Of all movies, right?

Is he the director of I LIKE TO HURT PEOPLE?

Chris K.

Andy Milligan never directed a film called I LIKE TO HURT PEOPLE. He made a bunch of low budget films on his hometown of Staten Island and usually made some in England. His film credits are:

LIZ (1963; a.k.a. THE PROMISCUOUS SEX)
THE NAKED WITCH (1964; a.k.a. THE NAKED TEMPTRESS)
VAPORS (1965)
THE DEGENERATES (1967)
DEPRAVED! (1967)
THE GHASTLY ONES (1967)
SEEDS (1968)
TRICKS OF THE TRADE (1968)
KISS ME, KISS ME, KISS ME (1968)
GUTTAR TRASH (1969)
COMPASS ROSE (1969)
BLOODTHIRSTY BUTCHERS (1970)
TORTURE DUNGEON (1970)
NIGHTBIRDS (1970)
FEVER (1971)
THE BODY BENEATH (1971)
GURU THE MAD MONK (1971)
FLESHPOT ON 42nd STREET (1971)
THE MAN WITH TWO HEADS (1972)
THE RATS ARE COMING! THE WEREWOLVES ARE HERE! (1972)
BLOOD! (1974)
LEGACY OF BLOOD (1978)
CARNAGE (1983)
THE WEIRDO (1988)
SURGIKILL (1990)
MONSTROSITY (1991)

Only the films THE GHASTLY ONES, VAPORS, BLOODTHIRSTY BUTCHERS, TORTURE DUNGEON, THE BODY BENEATH, GURU THE MAD MONK, THE MAN WITH TWO HEADS, LEGACY OF BLOOD, BLOOD!, and THE RATS ARE COMING! THE WEREEOLVES ARE HERE! have survived obscurity. His films from the 1960's are considered to be lost. Something Weird Video claimed to have an uncut print of SEEDS, but unfortunately SWV has issued the bad re-issue version titled SEEDS OF SIN and had porno footage with bad 1970's music added in for the re-issue. Talk about bad distribution.
