The Wisconsin DNR has sounded the alert on giant spiders.

QuoteThe Wisconsin Department of Natural resources warns residents to look out for large spiders.

The DNR posted on their Facebook page Thursday that they're getting reports of people finding 'fishing spiders,' which often live near water and catch small fish and tadpoles. The post also says they can range inland to hunt and breed.

Many expressed dismay. As one woman wrote, "If these are becoming common in Wisconsin then I'm moving to Antarctica."

Don't know about anyone else, but this sounds very familiar.  As in Alan Hale, Jr. familiar...

I guess I'll be spending more time inside in a related note.

I hope my wife doesn't find out or I'll be spending my evenings spraying six different kinds of bug killer all around the house.

I shall send my undies to take care of the problem ;)
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.
