A.J. Bauer is an abbreviated version of my real name, Austin James Bauer.

Austin: Named after my great grandpa. Austin is derived from Augustus Caesar.
James: Named after my Dad. (He prefers Jim)
Bauer: German word for "farmer".

I hate the name Austin, too damn common. I prefer A.J.
