Hawaii Five O (2010 - )

When I read that the classic 60s/70s series was going to be rebooted, I thought   :"This won't work at all." When I saw the pilot episode, I went   and said "This will work."

We're only on season 2 here but I intend to purchase all the available box-sets on DVD in September. Great television and wonderful memories.  

I should just add that my fave episode so far is the one entitled Lekio [Radio] with Dennis Miller as a pirate DJ blown to hell on his boat  and James Caan as the ex New York detective accused of the crime. Mr Caan makes this episode, especially where he has New York pizza flown in to Hawaii for the 5 O crew.

I'm following it as it airs on the USA. They're on season 4-5, I think. Pretty good show, except when they rise the action / patriotism parameters to overkill. I mean, 5-0 is supposed to be a police team, not Seal Team 6.
