Amazing how less than ten seconds' immersion can completely fry an electronic instrument that was sealed in a "water-resistant" case.
Thankfully, I had phone insurance.  Sadly, since the touchscreen on my old phone is completely inoperative, there is no way I can transfer my contacts from my old phone to my new one.  Now I have to get EVERYONE'S number all over again!

Print out the completed list on multiple sheets of PAPER, and have them put in safe places! Let yer wife do it, so someone remembers where they are!
