Another list: http://filmsnobbery.com/filmsnobberys-25-worst-films-ever-made/

Huh... dunno, haven't watched some of these personally, but a few of them I find kind of odd cause I've never seen them included on a bad movie list before.

For example, A Walk In The Clouds.  Never seen this movie, cause I'm not really into romance films, but I distinctly remember seeing a review for it on a Siskel and Ebert show (I think Ebert gave it thumbs, but I'm not sure.)

Let's see... Renaldo and Clara, Texas Night Train, haven't even heard of those two.  Club Paradise?  Sounds vaguely familiar...  Seven Years In Tibet?  With Brad Pitt?  Er... again, haven't seen, heard it wasn't the greatest of films, but top 25 worst?

I know the list comes from a poll; I'd be curious to see the demographics of the people who voted.

Blair Witch Project is an absurd choice. I didn't think it was amazing but really?

Yeah, seems like they were sending a "fed up with found footage" message with that choice, but surely they could have found a better example.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

The Conqueror wasn't such a bad film but its' notoriety comes from what happened to many of its' cast and crew years later.  :buggedout:

John Wayne playing Genghis Kahn? THAT is what makes it a bad film. But, still, there are SOOOOOO many out there that are infinitely worse.

Maybe if the site expressed its criteria for choices, the list might make more sense. I get the feeling it was a bunch of mostly hipsters who know just enough about films to be snarky, but haven't really suffered through truly awful films.
I feel more like I do now than I did a while ago.

THAT is the crux of it! I'm betting they never even watched BLOOD FREAK-just saw clips and repeat what others said. If they ever tried to sit down and actually watch-say-PSYCHED BY THE 4-D WITCH (1973) or be bored into a stupor by junk like RED ZONE CUBA (1966),then they would be half way legit. Otherwise,Film Snobbery is,I beleive-just that-snarky hipsters trying to act like they know wtf they are talking about.

I DO like MONSTER A GO GO's rural feel.

As far as RED ZONE CUBA-I feel asleep.

I found the way to watch it is with the the sound turned down and Jim Hendrix's Electric Ladyland playing over top whilst enjoying a bit o' cannabis.
