Shame on us for not making this thread before the film was on last night

I enjoyed it, but thought the previous 4 films were better
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

I believe in the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

I recently binged on 3, 4, and 5. I can't say I didn't like 5, but it was only slightly better than 2, which really sucked in my opinion. The jokes are getting better and cornier, but when they try to actually tell a story with themes of loss, redemption, and sacrifice, it veers away from the Sharknado theme of being the geeky version of "Airplane!".

I'm expecting 6 to be way better.
I feel more like I do now than I did a while ago.
