Plot: A passionate young couple, unexpectedly separated by a shocking loss, discover an eternal connection and a love that is infinite.

I am a big fan of Cassey Afleck especially after i saw his role in movie "Manchester By The Sea". His new movie A Ghost Story also follows the same footprints. He is acting as a ghost in white sheet. Movie has very few dialogues and shows the story of an innocent (May be) ghost, who is still connected with his wife after death.

I am a big fan of such drama movies, Do't know how makers come up with such movie scripts.

If you like serious drama movies, this movie is the must watch.

Well, I liked it too. It requires a lot of patience, though.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

It should have been subtitled:
a guy in a sheet does nothing for an hour and  a half.

Sorry, I wanted to like it, I really did.   I don't know it it's just too artsy for me or what, but I just couldn't get into it at all.

Too much wistful sheet standing around, not enough of . . . well, anything else.

The longest extended bit of dialogue in the whole movie was the world's worst party guest railing about the utter futility of life.

Then wondering why he never gets laid.

I agree with you on that, Rev.

The biggest issue with this movie is that it basically wasn't made for everyone to like. No snobbery involved. Some people like their films fast, loud, and frenetic. Others like their movies to be slower, to meditate on their subjects. This is clearly a case of the second type.

I can understand people walking out of this film. Do I agree with that response? No, but I'm not going to think someone is stupid because they found this movie boring. Some people like pop music while others like Tuvan throat singing; neither are wrong, just different.

Personally, I liked it a lot, but it isn't something I'll revisit often.
I feel more like I do now than I did a while ago.
