Tank girl.

Anyone else like tank girl or am I a lone heretic here?

I know it was supposed to be so bad it killed Lori Petty's career but I class it as a good movie just because it came bout at almost the same tie waterworld  did, was a similar premise (post water related apocalypse world), cost a tiny fraction of what waterworld did and was far more entertaining.

Yeah it has it's flaws but this is a cult favorite of mine. It's up there with Buckaroo Banzai in the 'really want it to be remade' category. Great soundtrack too

Yeah, it had a song by joan Jett in it so it had a good soundtrack.

I haven't seen "Tank Girl" since it first hit VHS back in the day. I know fans of the comic book series were disappointed in it but I'd never read the comics so that didn't mean much to me. I vaguely remember liking it but after all this time, I'd have to re-visit to say anything more.

No one outside Australia has read the tank girl comics.. No other country allows them to be imported.  😉

I've read a couple of Tank Girl comics in the UK. To the best of my knowledge they are freely available.

It has its flaws, but I still think it is a hoot. But then, I also think that of Suckerpunch.
