Between 70/80s zombies or cannibals, which seems more frightening.

The reanimated dead coming back to life and hunting the living.
Being hunted through an alien terrain (unless you are native to the jungle of course) by flesh eating living people.
Either way you are eaten, makes no difference.
My name is Leona Quigley and I find the idea of being eaten alive kind of hot.

If you mean mindless NotLD zombies then I would say being hunted by living thinking people is scarier as an intelligent hunter can. Be more dangerous than a mindless one.

Also a cannibal by choice is in some ways worse than one that doesn't choose it.
