Name an animated movie you think is good.

Ghost in the shell: innocence. The animation is awesome,  the sound track is widely varied, with some good music,  the story is great and the subtitle job is top notch.
The doctor that circumcised Trump threw away the wrong piece.

I could think of several, but I'll just go with one.

NINJA SCROLL
Very cool anime for adults-- lots of cool mysticism and magic in this one.  Wandering samurai is tasked with finding out who poisoned the water of a village and he soon gets over his head in monsters and mystical beings.  Plenty of gore and nudity.
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

ER

Heavy Metal. My friend had a bootleg VHS copy back in the mid-90s and was always watching it. I resisted and finally gave in one day and thought I'd sit through seeing it, and to my delight it was great. John Candy's line in there, "Wow, eighteen years of nothing and now twice in one day!" made me laugh so much I kept repeating it all summer.

I also love The Iron Giant, and many, many other animated movies. In fact I sometimes think I like animation better than ....live action, is it called?

Did you guys know there was talk of Warner Brothers originally making the Harry Potter series animated?
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

THE SECRET OF NIMH (1982)

This showed ad nauseum on cable tv.  Beautiful animation by former Disney employee Don Bluth, who also created the game DRAGON'S LAIR.
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

Pacman000

The Thief & The Cobbler

Can't post a video clip now, but if you look it up you'll see some of the greatest traditional animation made since the 40's.

the YELLOW SUBMARINE (1968)
It seems dated and silly now, but when I saw it as a 6 year old in the theater, I loved it.

I'll go with a No-Brainer...Akira
Definitely one of the All-Time great Anime movies...plus it's not by Ghibli - which actually means a lot to me.
