RIP Verne Troyer

Dark Alex told me he died.

I was in rehab with him. He  told me he married his manager who took all his money and put it up her nose. She married him for money. All he wanted was someone to love him for himself-not his fame and cash. He told me folks in Hollywood treated him like a party favor. Except Mike Myers-who was always good to him. I drew a picture for him in rehab. He was kind,sad, and funny.
He was a Michigander-like myself-and we both ended up in the Gilmore Center in Kalamazoo.
I remember playing ping pong in the barn with him-he stood on the chest they used for storing the basket balls, and he had a motorized chair-his bones were fragile-so what he did in film was amazing-because it was hard for him to walk for long periods of time.
His sense of humor was sharp. He had a wry sense of humor. He was beautiful.

I had no idea you knew him, RC.  This must be hitting you pretty hard. 

He always seemed like a good guy to me.  He died way too young.

I remember him being on howard stern once, he was a cool guy. and of course being dead drunk on "Surreal Life". I usually don't have much reaction when celebs die but I liked him.
