I called a Walmart today and a woman answered. She started reading a commercial for something at Walmart to me and I just said firmly "Put me thtu to electronics.", cutting her off in mid word.

She made a slightly annoyed sound but connected me to electronics.

Was I rude? I don't care. I'm constantly bombarded by endless barrages of ads everywhere every day. This site is constantly throwing an ad in my face as I type this. I'm sick of them.

So when someone starts blowing yet another xxxxing commercial in my ear, I cut them off with the blunt finality of a guillotine blade. If they get their panties in a bunch, tough. I'm sick of ads everywhere constantly.

One place I used to work one of the engineers used to have his cell phone voice mail where he would leave an inspirational quote at the end of the voice mail. This got to be so irritating when s**t was blowing up around us and we needed his help.

Ads are kinda a nessecary evil. I mean, they sponser our favorite TV shows, magazines and radio programs (and websites). Without ads you wouldn't know what the new movies are, the best places in town to eat, where to

eat or who to vote for. I mean-without ads we couldn't figure about the symptoms of mesothelioma, know which drug rehab to

beat your crack/cocaine addiction or which deodorant keeps you feeling fresh all day. Man, without ads, how would we know which car gets the best mileage, which cereal stays crunchy even in milk, why I'm koo-koo for Coo Coo Puffs, or how to get my teeth they're whit

Then again I knew a guy who responded to this ad and got what he wanted. She's in a very happy relationship now...
