Best: Hell I have to say Lugosi or rcmerchant will jump on the anti svengoolie3 bandwagon... 
Worst.  The one in Dracula 3000.  Honestly I've seen better Draculas in p0rn parody films....  He was worse than the one in 'kung fu from beyond the grave. 'And that was a wuxia movie!

Frankenstein.
Best.  Karloff.  Seriously.
Worst.  That thing in Dracula vs Frankenstein....

War movie.
Best.  The longest day. Very realistic.
Worst.  The green berets.  War propaganda.  I know  Vietnam vets that hate that movie.

Alien monster.
Best.The thing from the 1983 movie. Acted intelligently like a being that can make a starship should.
Worst.  The goblins from 'signs'.  Vulnerable to water then grab creatures that are mostly water.  Have advanced tech and fight with little poison gas sprays from their wrists. Idiots....

Best original trek ep: Devil in the dark.  Great ep about respecting alien life and understanding other intelligences.
Worst original trek episode.  Lights of zetar.  Seriously,  it was a ghost story in a SF show....

Best cheesy 60's sci fi film.  Green slime.  They acted it up so seriously.
