Off on my travels again

Going to a film festival in Cape Town on Friday.

The Silwerskerm (Silver Screen) festival shows the latest in South African cinema: should be fun, and hey, I get to spend a weekend in Cape Town.

I was going to spend some time cleaning undies for the trip but I thought "Nahh, why bother?"

I tend to take a couple of pairs for traveling and then buy new ones when I get where I am going. Or just go commando. Y'know, whatever works.

I'll be staying here: a new hotel which opened late last year.



Guess it'll look a little different when I leave there on Sunday.  

The sea is to the extreme right of the picture, the city to the left and that tiny hill behind the hotel is Table Mountain.

I just found out that this is a two in one hotel: the "Stay Easy" and the "Sunsquare".

Hearing that makes me wonder where my room will be: with my luck, in the parking garage.

The stay was nice: the weather was bad but Cape Town needs the rain so, OK.
